Last Latte in Paris
A series of seven original acrylic paintings on canvas by Cee Fardoe.

Le Cafe de la Rotonde the sixth work in the Last Latte in Paris series, and the only one that includes copper and bronze tones, inspired by the red neon sign for which its namesake is so well-known. It is a 16 x 20 inch acrylic painting on canvas in shades of white, peach, gold, bronze and copper. It is a one-of-a-kind original artwork that will not be reproduced.

Le Cafe de la Rotonde opened in 1911, and was a favourite of artists like Amadeo Modigliani and Pablo Picasso. The story goes that when the artists, who were perpetually out of cash, couldn’t produce the ten centimes for their cup of coffee, they would pay with drawings, instead.

All paintings in the Last Latte in Paris series are sold unframed.
