My wishlist is neverending. Which, I think, is perhaps why Shop with Cee posts, which are among my favourites to write, often get forgotten. They are so much fun but so unbearably time-consuming, because it takes forever to narrow down the pieces I’m coveting to a shortlist of nine or ten items. (This, truly, is a champagne problem.)

For my January wishlist, I had no particular theme in mind. The round-up is a mix of items I cheekily purchased in the days after Christmas – hello, Wilfred dress, Urban Outfitters earrings and Shop Blacklist notebook – and items I suspect will make their way into my wardrobe before January ends. I admit, I am a bit on the fence about the checked blazer, because I have a history of falling for blazers but never actually wearing them. This time could be different, though. At least, that’s what I’m telling myself. The Aquazzura pumps, truly, are the only longshot. They sold out just days after I discovered them during one of my all-too-frequent browsing sessions on Net-a-Porter. So far, they haven’t reappeared. In a pinch, I would settle for these ones instead. But my size sold out before I convinced myself I deserved them.

In reality, I am mostly bundled up in sweaters, jeans and scarves these days. So my January wishlist also reflects my longing for (at least slightly) warmer weather. I’m not asking for much. I’d just like to be able to consider a silk blouse as a viable option on occasion. But since that’s still a few weeks, or months, away, I have been consoling myself with a fair amount of online shopping. And I’m really not sorry.
