In what was a fitting end to a year full of surprises, I was asked to model for a New Year’s Eve fashion segment on CTV Morning Live. Even though it required a 5 am wake-up call (and on my first day back at work after Christmas, no less!), it was a really fun experience with a group of very talented women – and I won’t lie, I was pretty much in love with the outfit that Mana Mansour styled for me, especially the cutout detail on the back of the tuxedo dress. Il est normal que j’ai terminé l’an 2016, un an de surprises, avec un dernier : la chance de paraitre comme mannequin pour un reportage mode du réveillon du jour de l’an dans l’émission CTV Morning Live. Bien qu’il a fallu que je me lève à 5h du matin (et le premier jour de mon retour au travail après noël, en plus… !), je me suis bien amusée en jouant le mannequin ainsi qu’en passant la matinée avec une groupe de femmes hyper douées. Et oui, j’avoue que je suis tombée amoureuse de ma tenue, assemblé par la styliste Mana Mansour. Je m’en lasse pas de la silhouette smoking de la robe avec son dos découpé. Oh what a fun opportunity! And I love the look she styled you in. The star clutch is cute and the shoes are really fun, though I don’t see those as being pieces you’d typically go for.
I really liked the velvet dress, probably because it’s similar to the one I got from H&M, but ultimately ended up returning because after trying it in three different sizes and still not being happy with the fit I gave up.
