My everyday Parisian uniform is a simple combination of skinny jeans, a cosy sweater, classic pumps, a great coat and my favourite bag. But when we arrived in the French capital, Paris Fashion Week was in full swing and if there is ever a time to wear a dream dress, Paris Fashion Week is it. I was on my way to meet Anastasia, one half of the very talented iheartparis.fr team, to shoot these photos when I was stopped by a street style photographer outside the Grand Palais to have my photo taken. I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t seen that shot pop up anywhere, but it was a pretty surreal experience in the moment – I’m still not sure why someone who would have the opportunity to capture Miroslava Duma on film later that day would have had any interest in what I was wearing – but it did go to show that a great dress can be a very powerful thing. And made what was already shaping up to be a really fun afternoon that much more memorable. I had such a lovely time working with iheartparis.fr and I can’t wait to show you more of their photos soon!
Ma tenue quotidienne à Paris comprend un jean slim, un pull doux, des escarpins élégants, un bon manteau et mon sac d’amour du moment. Mais je suis arrivée à Paris cette dernière fois tout au milieu de Fashion Week et si jamais il y a un moment de mettre une robe de rêves, c’est lors de Paris Fashion Week. J’étais en route pour retrouver Anastasia, une des deux photographes qui forment l’équipe iheartparis.fr, quand un photographe streetstyle m’a arrêté en avant du Grand Palais pour me prendre en photo. Je suis la première à admettre que la photo n’a jamais paru nulle part, mais ce fut quand même une expérience assez irréele – je me demande toujours pourquoi on prendra ma photo si on allait tantôt voir des vraies stars telle Miroslava Douma – et a fait preuve de la pouvoir d’une bonne robe. Jamais je n’oublierai cette après-midi, ça c’est sur. J’ai passé quelques très belles heures avec iheartparis.fr – j’ai hâte de vous montrer davantage de photos de notre shooting la semaine prochaine
