When it comes to weekend dressing, is there anything better than the perfectly worn in pair of jeans? I don’t think so. I bought this pair of Mavi Serenas at the Mavi store in Yaletown in early 2012 – the purchase was a bit impulsive; the Vancouver Fashion Blogger Clothing Sale was the next morning and, since I was getting rid of so many things, I obviously needed something new to wear to the event. Fast forward two years and the jeans, which were practically perfect from day one, are now faded, worn and practically molded to my frame, thanks to my year in Paris as a freelancer, which I lived almost exclusively in my most comfortable skinnies. We all have our favourite pair of jeans – tell me, what are yours?
Quand on s’habille pour le weekend, qu’y a-t-il de mieux qu’un jean parfaitement usé ? Rien, à mon avis. J’ai acheté ce jean Mavi dans la boutique Mavi à Yaletown en mars 2012 – c’était sans doute un achat impulsif; le Vancouver Fashion Blogger Clothing Sale était prévu pour le matin suivant et, étant donné que j’allais me débarrasser de tellement de fringues, il me fallait absolument quelque chose de nouveau. Deux ans plus tard et le jean, pratiquement parfait depuis le premier jour, est délavé, usé et moulé en forme de mon corps, grâce à mon an à Paris. Travailleuse autonome, le boulot était chez moi et je passais quasiment tous mes jours en jean slim hyper confortable. Tout le monde a son jean d’amour – alors, dites-moi, quel est le vôtre ?
